Our products and services are tightly focused on new uses. Our Flexom connected and smart homes, for example, are now rolled out nationwide while remaining affordable and without making any concessions on quality. In the commercial segment, we are continuing to expand our Nextdoor concept of collaborative and modular workspaces that foster innovation and encourage synergies. With our innovative UrbanEra® initiative, this approach is scaled up to the level of an entire neighbourhood. Our offering spans energy, mobility and local services, such as concierge services, car park sharing, carpooling and collaborative websites, which we co-construct with residents. In that way we play our part as a developer and operator of desirable urban neighbourhoods which are pleasant to live in at any age, in comfort and safety, with a social and generational mix.
In recent years we have rolled out an open innovation policy that has generated a rich ecosystem of partners. Our aim is to jointly design projects tailored to local circumstances. In 2015, we created a venture-capital firm, BIRD, to take minority stakes in innovative companies in the residential and commercial property and urban development sectors. As a non-exclusive partner, BIRD acts as a catalyst which helps start-ups to grow while retaining their operational and commercial independence.
In a residential property market likely to remain buoyant, we intend to pursue growth in France and elsewhere and to consolidate our position as an urban developer/operator. We will continue to draw on the drivers that have underpinned our success to date: innovation and sustainable development, technical and architectural quality, and listening to and providing support to customers.
Innovation is used to benefit customers by offering them a more personalised, connected, modular and sustainable living environment. We continue to strive to provide affordable, high-quality homes by diversifying the range of properties and products (intermediate housing, managed residences, etc.) and optimising design (BIM).
We aim to test a new model for large firms, incorporating the Nextdoor approach into the design of corporate headquarters, in response to rapidly changing demand.
Having been awarded numerous projects, the primary aim is be to implement the operational aspects, keeping to schedules and rolling out innovative urban services that will pave the way for the sustainable and desirable urban environment of the future.
We continue to pursue growth from our existing subsidiaries.
